December 22, 2003 - Southern Audio Services Inc. (SAS), manufacturer of the Bazooka® Mobile Audio line of tube subwoofers, speakers, and amplifiers, is pleased to announce that it has been awarded status as an official Toyota Supplier Brand. For Consumers, this means that several models of Toyota and SCION vehicles will be available with a Bazooka Subwoofer directly from the showroom floor. The cars feature special wiring harness and bracketing to accommodate the subwoofer, installed at port locations throughout the United States. The subwoofer is a specially engineered adaptation of the Legendary Bazooka Bass Tube Enclosure®. The Bazooka also appears on the Monroni label, the Federally mandated “sticker” that is found on new cars, as an option. The first Bazooka-equipped Toyota Vehicles began showing up in the Southeast United States as early as March 2002. Beginning in the Spring of 2003, consumers throughout North America were able to purchase a vehicle with a Bazooka already installed, or be able to have their dealer install one for them through the parts department of their local Toyota dealer. In the first quarter of 2004, the SCION vehicles will be released nationwide, complete with Bazooka Subwoofer systems.
