Drilling a hole in your roof is never the best option. It could cause the roof to crack or leak. The best way to mount it would be to bolt a piece of flat bar between the 2 roof struts of you golf cart. Then you would mount the speaker to the flat bar. If you use a steel bar, we recommend going with 1.5in wide x .125in thick. If aluminum we recommend you use 1.5in wide x .250in thick.
