The main difference between single voice coil sub-woofers and dual voice coil sub-woofers is that DVC sub-woofers give you the ability to configure the wiring to present a variety of different loads to your amplifier, which in turn can deliver more power.
BT6014 is a 4 ohm
BT6018 is a 8 ohm
BT6024DVC is dual 4 ohm. It can be wired in a 2 ohm or 8 ohm configuration
BT6028DVC is dual 8 ohm. It can be wired in a 4 ohm or 16 ohm configuration
It all depends on your amp 6" bass tubes are rated at 100 watts RMS, a DVC will be rated at 200 watts
